This exercise starts in the same position you would assume to do a pushup. After you’re in position, raise your body upward while still maintaining the pushup position. Now, pull one of your legs into your chest while the other stays planted on the ground. Then bring the leg back to the ground that you pulled into your chest and repeat the same motion with the other leg. And just keep repeating this. It kind of feels like you are jogging from the pushup position.
Just make sure that when you pull your leg into your chest that your knee gets as close to your chest as possible.
That’s the key to the effectiveness of this exercise.
Try to do 5 sets of 20 for each leg. Rest a minute between sets.
Hula hooping with a weighted hoop
If you don’t have a weighted hula hoop, go to Walmart and get one for about $ 20. Don’t try this with a kid’s hula hoop because it will be too difficult to twirl. A weighted hoop is easier to twirl around your hips, which makes it more efficient for losing weight.
Try to do this for at least 10 minutes every day.
